‘Those who steal, tell lies, others, are not children of God’, says Child-minister
A Minister of the Gospel, Rifkatu Gadzama, has urged brethren to exemplify the attributes of God, saying that one who shares His semblance, would be likened as such.
Speaking during children’s weekend at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Mercyland Youth Church, Tumfure, in her message titled, ‘Are you a child of God?’, urged her congregation to behave like God.
Gadzama, who is a Child-minister drew her sermon from Galatians 3 vs 21-26 and Ephesians 5vs 1, explained that a child of God does not steal, tell lies and behave in a way that would be questionable.
According to her, only children of the devil are known for telling lies, stealing, stressing that there was need to be different from the norm.
“You must act like God, you must not lie, You must behave like God. A child of God doesn’t steal,” Gadzama said.
While explaining the need for well doing from Luke 13 vs 27, Gadzama harped that those who are not children of God would be abandoned, and face ultimate rejection.
She added, “The fruit of the spirit must be seen in you. You must show love, kindness, gentleness, self-control etc.”
On his part, the parish Pastor, Samuel Elebiyo, urged parents to continue to support their children towards becoming better version of themselves, adding that they deserved to be encouraged to be useful to the kingdom of God.
