2023 Edo LG Poll: Dickson Ahonsi to prioritise women in council administration – Media Team
The Media Team of the Peoples Democratic Party Chairmanship candidate has assured the good people of Owan West Local Government that the party’s candidate in the forthcoming September, 2nd 2023 Local Government election, Hon Dickson Idojemu Ahonsi, will ensure that women will be represented and the interest of women will be prioritised.
In a press statement obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA which was signed by his media team, they noted that they candidate has demonstrated gender sensitivity, even in his choice of Hon Victoria Aisenvbo Asije, as his running mate.
“We want to assure Owan West people of Hon Dickson Idojemu Ahonsi’s unwavering commitment to gender sensitivity and the pursuit of gender balance in governance,” the statement added.
Hon Dickson Ahonsi’s dedication to ensuring equal representation and opportunities for all genders the team described as truly commendable.
