Gombe CAN organises prayer session on Sunday over shortage of rainfall

The Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe State chapter says its set to hold prayers this Sunday that would be hinged on seeking for rainfall.
According to a voice over message signed by its Secretary, Pastor Solomon Ayanwale, which was obtained by our correspondent the prayer session would hold on Sunday.
Recall that the state had in the past weeks been without rainfall aside irregular showers in some localities. However, farmers are worried over the seeming drought.
Our correspondent reports that the shortage of rainfall may portend threat to food security in the state, region and the country at large.
The message said, “The Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe State chapter wishes to call on all denomination and churches in Gombe State to assemble and pray for God’s intervention over the shortage of rainfall in Gombe State.
“The prayer is scheduled to take place tomorrow (today, Sunday) during Sunday worship 2rd July, 2023.We pray that God shall answer our prayers.”
