Gombe gov attends Zulum son’s wedding in Maiduguri
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, on Saturday in Maiduguri, witnessed the wedding fatiha of Muhammad Babagana Umara, son of Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum.
Vice President Kashim Shettima, stood as Waliy (guardian ) for Ummi Kaltum, the bride and entrusted her into the hands of the groom’s Wakil (representative), former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR during the wedding fatiha which took place at the Shehu of Borno’s Palace.
The event attracted top-notch political and business leaders, traditional rulers and Islamic clerics.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who is the Chairman of Northern States Governors’ Forum, had in a message of felicitation, congratulated the father of the groom, Governor Zulum and that of the bride, Alhaji Abubakar Kolo as well as the new couple for Allah’s blessings and grace to witness this auspicious occasion, praying Almighty Allah to bless the marriage.
He admonished the couple to put Almighty Allah first in their affairs, build their marriage on trust, patience and respect to one another as well as remain prayerful at all the time.
Yahaya was accompanied by Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali, Dr. Jamilu Isiyaka Gwamna, Architect Yunusa Yakubu, Honourable Ismaila Muazu Hassan, Dr Danjuma Dabo and Alhaji Mala Sheriff.
