Gombe NAWOJ chairperson Talatu ties knot with heart-throb Christopher

The Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Gombe State chapter Talatu Lamon, on Sunday tied nuptial knot with her heart-throb Hassan Christopher.
Lamon, who is a senior staff of the Nigerian Television Authority, was joined in holy matrimony with Christopher, at the Evangelical Church Winning All, Federal Low-cost Gombe State, in the presence of an excited congregation comprising family members, colleagues, friends and well wishers.

Preaching the sermon titled; Marriage is “Sweet”, Vice Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Gombe State chapter, Pastor Chris Godobe, harped on the original plans of God for unions.
Godobe, a revered Clergy at God’s Glorious Tabernacle of Witness Tumfure, encouraged the couple to follow godly principles, not to be influenced by rules set by men, assuring the latest couple of conjugal bliss.
He noted that God is committed to seeing peaceful unions, one with edifying examples, adding that Christian marriages remain key to correcting societal ills.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the reception at Rainbow Hotel, saw guests that were adorned in burnt orange, black and gold colour code for the occasion.
However, Mr and Mrs Christopher, were beautifully styled, as the bride was clad in white wedding gown with the groom in black suit as they were ushered into the multi purpose hall with music and standing ovation.
Guests at the joyous occasion transcend Gombe media, to event management, following the exploits of the bride who is an established Baker.

The reception was moderated by Naphtali Hadu Ligari, who spiced the occasion with fun for both the couple and the guests.
Food by Dunsi Catering was said by guests to be an interesting icing on the cake, as the well-spiced meal reminded them of the touch of class of Mr and Mrs Christopher.
