Goodbye Adamu by Oracle Zent
APC outgone Chairman Adamu outplayed himself with his biased politics and he became the ugly face of President Buhari in his attempt to deny APC the proper way in which the flag bearer of the Party could emerged.
Adamu was forced on APC by President Buhari as the Chairman, and as a former diehard PDP man with no interest in the formation of APC, not even a member of CPC or remnant of Saraki group in APC.
Whatever it was, Adamu came for a purpose, to be used by President Buhari against Asiwaju Tinubu after all the efforts of Buhari to use Osinbajo, Amaechi and others against Tinubu failed.
Buhari started his plan with the removal of Osiomhole as the APC Chairman, unfortunately the Chairmanship was zone to the South it was difficult for him to use Oyegun against Tinubu even during the screening of the candidates.
By the time Adamu was raising the hand of the former Senate President Ahmad Lawan up as the anointed candidate, President Buhari knew the game was over for him and he left Adamu in the cold and even during the primaries, Buhari’s body language was that of defeated and frustrated leader.
When the so-called anointed candidate Senate President Lawan had been ridicled to the level of a tomato seller in Bauchi by Senator Shettima, it could be taken that Adamu looked stupid until he resigned.
With Adamu as Chairman Buhari still wanted the right to nominate the flag bearer of the Party including the Secretary of the Party Iyiola Omisore another PDP foundation member within APC.
Adamu should have resigned immediately after Tinubu won APC primaries but why he stayed would continue to baffle the imagination including his recent confession on how Tinubu was denied the needed fund and other resources under his leadership nailed him.
APC needs house cleaning and be focused to complete all the needed programs of the Party.
Oracle says, nobody in APC will miss Adamu, his departure and that of Iyiola Omisore, the Secretary is more like the needed broom to sanitise APC.
