….moves to accredit Law Faculty, others
Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State on Wednesday received thunderous Cheers from students studying in the state varsity over 50 per cent fees reduction.
According to Kefas, he arrived the school for an unscheduled visit, to meet with students and management of Taraba State University.

He made this disclosure on his verified twitter handle where he described himself as a servant leader.
He wrote, “The tenacity to do all that is necessary, within the powers and reach of a true Servant-leader, is all the energy we need right now. This afternoon, I made an unscheduled visit to Taraba State University, Jalingo. After engagements with both the Management and Students of the Institution, there will be a 50 per cent reduction in School fees, effective from the next academic session. This development became very necessary because we must ensure Tarabans have access to Education, without unbearable burdens.”

He disclosed that he inspected hostels, and has begun efforts towards accrediting Law Faculty and others.
“Following reports on my desk and via the Social Media, I charged the Management to expedite the accreditation processes for some unaccredited courses – especially Law and Medical Laboratory Science. During this Visit, I also checked the Female Hostels which will experience immediate renovations, so as to improve the living conditions of Students,” he tweeted.
