Jewel Bikers Club visits Mai Kaltungo, Caretaker boss
….calls on Gombe South youths to take advantage of biking

Jewel Bikers Club on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Mai Kaltungo, Engineer Sale Mohammed, at his palace in Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State.

In a statement issued by the group, Mai Mohammed was said to be excited to receive some members of Jewel Bikers, adding that he lauded them for their contributions to peace especially youth development.
According to the group, the Mai expressed disappointment over the failure of Jewel Bikers to invite him to the recently organised Gombe Converge.

Recall that the recently held Gombe Converge brought bikers from far and near including international music star Tuface Idibia, who serenaded audience to his tunes. The converge also recorded tree planting campaign.

The statement partly read, “Today we paid a courtesy call on Mai Kaltungo Engr. Sale Muhammed, he was very happy with what the JBMC Gombe is doing in the lives of Youths as Bikers. He sincerely appreciated our efforts on the successful Grand Converge, we just finished even though he complained that we didn’t invite him personally, but we asked for his forgiveness that next time we will take note of that, he prayed, blessed us and wished us success as we rode on two wheels.”
The Bikers group disclosed that they also visited council Caretaker chairman, where they had great time, “We then proceeded to the home of our Distinguished Chairman (Caretaker) Kaltungo, Hon. Faruk where we had a very warm reception. With us are Col. Johnson who is also a Biker, HRH Sardaunan Pindiga and the rest of us the Jewel Bikers,” the statement said.
While urging Gombe South youths to take advantage of benefits of being bikers, the group said there was no dull moment.
“We are calling on Gombe South youths to join biking as it’s comes with so many benefits and no dull moment. God bless the Mai Kaltungo, God bless Hon. Faruk Kabo, God bless Gombe Jewel Bikers club,” the statement added.
