MCPD to improve analytical, digital accounting solutions – ANAN President

The President and Chairman of Council, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Dr James Neminebor, had emphasised that the Mandatory Continuing Professional Development programme of the Association is designed to optimise their professional capacities for improved analytical and digital accounting solutions in the country.

Speaking at the Closing of the third session of 2023 Mandatory Continuing Professional Development in Gombe on Wednesday, the President of the Council said that the knowledge gained would greatly impact on them professionally would enable them acquire valuable knowledge and skills in accounting developments and innovations by members.
According to him, the programme is also aimed at enhancing their proficiency in providing viable financial advisory services for organizational and economic development in the country.
He noted that “the 3rd Session of 2023 MCPD programme has been highly impactful through the quality of lectures presented, erudition of resource persons and the entire training process,” urging the participants to put the knowledge acquired into practical use which they garnered from the various presentations delivered and should be actively participate in the ANAN programmes at national and brach levels because of it benefits they will gain from their participations.”
The President further explained that the benefits of attending to all these activities provides immense benefit like nomination into Council Committes, conferment of fellowship status among other advantages.
Neminebor explained that professionalism is a value which must reflect in their lives and careers as professional accountants and urged inductees to always exercise a high degree of integrity in their service delivery as it will define their career success and growth.
He urged them to be conscious of their dress sense as it was significant in defining their personality and encouraged them to be corporate in their dressing which could be English attire or decent traditional attire.
