PDP endorses Mustapha for Kajola Chairmanship

Former Lawmaker, Hon Akeem Mustapha, has been endorsed by Peoples Democratic Party leaders for Local Government Chairmanship in Kajola, Oyo State.
In anticipation of the upcoming local government election, influential leaders and stakeholders of the PDP in Kajola local government area of Oyo State, have thrown their support behind Mustapha, a former lawmaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, as the preferred candidate for the Chairmanship race.
The endorsement was announced through an official statement issued and signed by Hon Akeem Mustapha himself, which was later made available to the press on Saturday.
The statement revealed that prominent figures within the party, including Alhaji O. K Salam, Alhaji Ali Oyedeji, Pa Okunade Adesina, Deacon Oguntade Sunday, Alhaji Biliaminu Kazeem, Alhaji Ogundijo Azeez, Alhaji Igbayilola Rasaq, Hon Olatunji Abiodun, Hon Oyediran Bolanle, the Party Chairman in Kajola local government area Hon Johnson Ojebiyi, Chairman of ward chairmen Mr Azeez Raufu Olawale, PDP National Ex Officio Mrs Bello Oluwakemi (Iya Ilero), Women leader Mrs Gbolahan Folasade, and several others have pledged their support to Hon Akeem Mustapha’s candidacy.
Meanwhile, Mustapha has taken a significant step forward by obtaining the nomination and expression of interest forms for the Chairmanship race under the PDP. He has duly completed and submitted these forms and has successfully undergone the screening process conducted by the screening committee.
The local government election in Kajola is now poised to be a competitive race, with Mustapha receiving strong backing from influential leaders and the endorsement of the PDP.
Voters in the area will eagerly await the election day to cast their ballots and decide the future leadership of their local government.
