…..as Santos Escobar becomes number one contender for United States champion

Santos Escobar, has defeated Rey Mysterio to become the number one contender for the WWE United State Champion at Summer Slam as the Blue Brand edition of WWE in Smoothie King Center New Orleans, L.A
The Bloodline kicks off the show with the family feud till boiling as Jey Uso and Roman Reigns stage another confrontation after last weeks show down.
Jey says he wanted none of that, he had Reigns’ back no matter what as his right-hand man. Jey goes on and says he believed in Reigns to lead this company and this family, but you broke the family and now I have to do what I have to do.
Furthermore, Reigns says if somehow Jey does win, he will no longer be champion or Tribal Chief, but he will always be Roman Reigns and he can do what he wants. Reigns goes on and says Jey will have nobody. Reigns says Jey cannot beat him. Reigns asks what makes Jey think he can win. Jey steps to Roman and they face off. Jey says it Is because. I already beat you. Fans pop as Reigns smirks. Jey says he is the only one to do it and at SummerSlam… Jey steps closer, then reaches around with his neck, looks Reigns in his eyes, and says he will beat Reigns again. Jey drops the mic and exits the ring.
Finals of the WWE United States Title Invitational:
Santos Escobar vs. Rey Mysterio
Escobar and Mysterio shake hands before the match. Mysterio and Escobar trade submission and pin attempts. Escobar and Mysterio start to slap each other. Frustration over neither man being able to get a firm advantage. Mysterio sends Escobar into the rope. Mysterio landed a somersault senton.
Escobar gets a near fall after a crossbody off the top. After a series of counters, Mysterio takes Escobar over with sunset flip. Escobar kicks out. Mysterio ends up on Escobar’s shoulders. Both men fall over the top. Escobar lands on his feet. Mysterio sends Escobar flying into the ring apron with a rana. Mysterio tries his baseball slide splash. Escobar moves out of the way and went top rope for a suicide dive that apparently injured Rey when his head hit the ramp. The referee declares Escobar the winner.
WINNER- SANTOS ESCOBAR
LA Knight vs Ashante Thee Adonis
Dolla decks LA with a cheap shot while B-Fab distracts the referee. LA kicks out at 2. Adonis charges from the opposite corner but LA moves, then drops Adonis with the inverted neck breaker. LA knocks Dolla off the apron, then powerslams Adonis. LA plays to the crowd for a pop, then drops his big elbow drop. LA finishes Adonis off with BFT for the pin to win.
