Again, Gombe NSCDC parades 12 suspects over Gidan galas
……says operators have shifted from the regular Gidan galas to local nightclubs
The State Commandant Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe State Command Muhammad Bello Mu’azu, has paraded additional 12 suspects arrested in some Gidan galas, so referred to as local clubs.
Recall that the command had on Tuesday paraded about 48 suspects who were arrested after Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s order banning such outfits from operating.
Mu’azu, who was represented by NSCDC Public Relations Officer, SC Buhari Sa’ad, disclosed that the 48 had been charged to court for the law to take it course.
He decried the change of tactics by operators of such local night clubs, adding “they were arrested within the metropolis around sabonline, Anguwa ukwu they are now relocating from Gidan gala to local night clubs, the command is equally shifting its attention there.”
Mu’azu noted that he would not fold his hand and watch the deterioration of moral decadence, stressing that until law and order return he would not rest.
The Commandant lamented the consequences of such outfits on the society especially children, adding that “The command will continue to support the government by working assidiously to ensure that we restore decency and morality in our communities.”
He also gave a stern warning to Kalare boys, known for its nefarious activities, saying that the Command would tame them in due course.
Mu’azu said, “The Kalare boys must desist from terrorising residents because the Command will deal decisively with them.”
