Gov Sule inspects renovation work at Akwanga Youth Centre
Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule, on Saturday, visited the ongoing renovation work at the Youth Centre, Akwanga.

On ground to receive the Governor were the Permanent Secretary, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barrister Isaac Danladi, alongside Executive Chairman of Akwanga Local Government Area, Hon. Safiyanu Isa Andaha, former Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, among other dignitaries, including sons and daughters of the Council Area.
The Governor was led on the tour of the facility by Architect Richard Embugus and Danladi where he was briefed on the extent of the job.
After a cursory assessment, the Governor expressed satisfaction with the progress of work, saying his desire is to ensure the job is completed before his first one hundred days in office, a position that was corroborated by handlers of the project who said it’s already at finishing stage.
The Governor assured the contractor of providing any other necessary support to enable him speed up completion of the project at the stipulated period.
He directed the Contractor to interface with the Ministry of Youth and Sports and that of Works, Housing and Transportation as well as office of the Accountant General to fast-track the process of payment.
The job description for the Youth Centre include general face-lift and landscaping to meet acceptable standard.
