Hundreds of protesters on Monday, throng the Government House, despite the current ban on all forms of protests by the Kano Commissioner of Police, Mohammad Usaini Gumel.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the protest organised by the Civil Society group staged a peaceful protest to the State Government House.

On arrival, CSO President, Ibrahim Waiya, who spoke on behalf of North-West Civil Society Anti-Corruption Corruption Network, organisers of the peaceful protest, said they would not allow any group to truncate  justice by bribing EPT Judges, insisting that Abba Kabiru Yusuf won the Governorship poll in Kano.

Earlier, according to the protesters, the allegations is too heavy to be ignored in the interest of democratic governance in Nigeria.

Thereafter, security operatives, who prevented them  entry allowed them into Government House at the end of which they presented a letter to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, for onward delivery to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Responding, Governor Yusuf promised to deliver their letter to President Tinubu, as well as praised them for organising a peaceful protest.
