Sponsors of youth criminality must desist – Newly deployed NSCDC Commandant warns

The newly posted Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe State, Mohammed Bello Muazu, has expressed total dismay with the spade of social vices encouraged by some unscrupulous elements and enemies of the state by co-opting the youths into all forms of social vices that crippled their well being and their contributions to the society.
Speaking, the 12th Commandant of NSCDC who commended the outgone, Commandant Achir Abraham, for retiring from active service for his transformation, dedication and commitment inculcated to the management of Gombe Command, said that his administration’s focus would ensure that residents sleep with their eyes closed in the nights with the help of other sister security agencies in the state.
Muazu called on those sponsoring youths into criminalities to discard the idea and opt for betterment of the youths, because the state will not be business as usual, advising the youths to be law abiding citizens and to shun any form of social vices that would jeopardise their future.

The new Commandant expressed his gratitude to the media in the state for their unalloyed support to the Corps and the State, and further called on them to maintain the good tempo, they are known for in the State, as the Command is also ready to cooperate in the sphere of governance at all levels to achieve the goals of Government in the state, by helping to ensure peace and tranquility in the state.
Bello acknowledged the trust and confidence placed in his appointment by the Commandant-General Ahmed Abubakar Audi, to revamp and reposition the Command, he promised to build upon the existing foundation and transform the officers and men for greater heights.
