Taraba Digital Economy Ministry visits Lagos

The Commissioner for Digital Economy and Innovation, Hon. Gideon Nonso, in his quest to top revenue generating chart board in Taraba stormed Lagos with his team.
Nonso, together with his Permanent Secretary, Directors and Consultants had engagements with top tier digital companies and met with CEOs of top-notch technical giants to fast track the digital revolution in Taraba State.
He emphasised his areas of immediate interest to be; improvement in revenue generation for the state, leveraging on digital tools and innovation, introduction of E-commerce Platform for the state to encourage large scale commercial activities in Taraba, and Digital Literacy Programme for the youths to prepare them to be able to handle digital hard and soft wares that will soon be installed in the state.
The team also met with other companies like Computer Warehouse Group (CWG), Plexada System Integrators, and Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria.
Nonso said, “in my quest to lay the right foundation for the take off the ministry, I led a team to Lagos to engage with top tier Digital and Innovation Companies to see how we can leverage on their wealth of skills and expertise in digitally moving Taraba forward .
“We had a fruitful engagement and plans are set for not only the digital revolution of Taraba but the Economic growth and development in line with the vision of His Excellency Dr. Agbu Kefas.”
