Taraba residents rejoice as Danladi makes Tinubu’s ministerial list
Some residents of Taraba State have rejoiced with Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, over his appointment as Minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Danladi was a one time Deputy Governor of Taraba State under Pharmacist Danbaba Suntai’s administration and also acting Governor.
He had earlier on openly declared his support for the APC presidential candidate during the 2023 election.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Danladi campaigned for the APC, many thought he was eyeing the position of the campaign Coordinator in Taraba State but when the position was given to someone else.
However, its was alleged that he went silent and people thought his political career was over only for him to bounce back with the announcement of his nomination.
According to Rasheedi Moseh Isiaka, the nomination had divine intervention, stressing that Danladi deserved the opportunity.
He said, “Although I know that there was a secret effort for his name to be there, I can say it is the Lord’s doing.”
Also speaking, Mr Babangida Aliyu, who spoke on behalf of Professor Muhammad Sani Yahaya, gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in the 2023 election of Taraba State, commended Danladi’s nomination, adding “the entire campaign team wishes to congratulate and wish Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi well.”
They expressed optimism that Danladi would help the current administration in its renewed hope agenda, stressing that he would attract desired opportunities to Taraba State.
