Western, Islamic Education bedrock for growth – Senior District Head
In a momentous occasion at Alfijir Sky High Academy Nursery and Primary School in Arawa B. Akko, Gombe State, parents were strongly encouraged to ensure their children receive a comprehensive education that seamlessly blends Islamic and Western teachings.

The call was passionately made by Senior District Head of Kundulum, Alhaji Shu’aibu Muhammad, during the school’s speech and prize giving day for the pupils.

During the event, Malam Umar Ibrahim Jabir, the Chairman of the Parents Teachers Association, delivered a warm and engaging welcome address to all the attendees.

The school’s Proprietor, Malam Ismaila Muhammad, shared a brief and insightful history of the institution, emphasising that it was established on September 19, 2022, with only five students. Since then, it has flourished with the unwavering support of dedicated and highly qualified teachers proficient in both Arabic and Western education.

Notably, the village heads of Arawa and Zaigana, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi and Ibrahim Muhammad, respectively, expressed their sincere gratitude to the school for organizing this momentous occasion.
The celebration was characterised by the generous distribution of gifts to all the students, encompassing both the nursery and primary sections of Alfijir Sky High Academy.
Additionally, the students exhibited their academic brilliance through thought-provoking debate presentations in Arabic and English, as well as captivating drama performances.
This remarkable event profoundly underscores the importance of providing children with a well-rounded education that embraces both Islamic values and Western knowledge, creating an environment that nurtures their intellectual and personal growth.
