Gov Yahaya gives out Sakina Baba Mato’s hand in marriage
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has given the hand of Sakina Baba Mato, in marriage to her spouse Mohammed Yunusa, after the payment of N100,000 dowry and fulfilment of all requirements of Islamic marriage.
Represented by the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Governor stood as waliy to the bride Sakina, while Alhaji Aliyu Mohammed represented the groom Mohammed Yunusa.
The wedding fatihah which was attended by dignitaries from far and near also had in attendance Gombe State Government delegation include some Commissioners designate namely; Abdulkadir Malle, Dr Habu Dahiru and Sanusi Ahmed.
Others are; Permanent Secretaries of Special Services and Political Alhaji Salisu Adamu Sambo, that of General Duties Abdulkadir Adamu, Adamu Mohammed Kala, Permanent Secretary Solid Minerals, the PPS Mohammed Usman Shanu, SSA on Domestic Musa Habibu and Yusuf Dambayo, SSA Security among other government functionaries.
In a message to the newly wedded couple, Yahaya charged them to build their marriage on trust and congratulated parents of the couple for the successful event.
