Adamu receives Bimodal Biometric Attendance Machine in Gombe Ministry
In an attempt to ensure effective public service efficiency and productivity, the administration of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has deployed Biomodal Biometric Attendance Machine, to various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in Gombe State, to checkmate absenteeism.

The machines are expected to ensure effective service delivery in the implementation of policy’s and programmes of the government.
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Water, Environment and Forest Resources Danladi Adamu, while briefing staff of the Ministry on the importance of availing themselves daily at their various duty posts, urged them to ensure they mark attendance on the Bimodal Biometric Attendance Machine.

He however stated categorically that the introduction of the machines is for the benefit of workers “as it will do away with absenteeism and also encourage staff on effective service delivery,” Adamu said.
Adamu also admonished staff of the ministry to shun truancy and avail themselves to duty. He also use the medium to seek their support for maximum cooperation to the Commissioner who has assumed duty.
He further urged staff to follow due process as emergency situations may arise with regards to the Bimodal Biometric Attendance Machine deployed to the ministry adding, “as there are instituted process for amicable resolutions in situations of sickness, official leave, maternity leave and also workshops and other emergency situations as they may arise.”
