ANA VP set to launch three books
In a momentous literary occasion, Hajia Farida Mohammed, the former National Treasurer and outgoing Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Authors, is all set to unveil her latest literary masterpieces.
The trilogy, consisting of Flying Arrows, Language of the Spirit, and Smiling Songs for Farida, will be officially launched on the 31st of October, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
The grand event will take place at the prestigious Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre, Minna, Niger State.
The launch promises to be a gathering of literary enthusiasts, esteemed dignitaries, and prominent figures. The Guest of Honour for the occasion is His Excellency Hon. Umar Mohammed Bago, the Executive Governor of Niger State. Joining him are other esteemed Guests of Honour including Hon. Binta Mamman, Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy; Hon. Hajiya Titi Auta, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs; Hon. Fatima Adamu, Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism; Hon. Mrs. Elizabeth Shaba, Ministry for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises; and Hon. Hadiza Idris Kuta, Honourable Commissioner for Transport, all from Niger State.
The event will be graced by Distinguished Guests of Honour such as Senator Muh’d Sani Musa, representing Zone “B” Niger State in the Senate, and Muh’d Mahmood Abubakar, the Honourable Minister of Agriculture. The Royal Father of the Day is HRH Dr. Umar Faruk Bahago, the Emir of Minna, while the esteemed title of Mother of the Day belongs to Her Excellency, Haj. Fatima Moh’d Bago, the Wife of the Executive Governor of Niger State.
The literary celebration will be presided over by the Honourable Commissioner for Basic & Secondary Education, Niger State, with insightful book reviews by Mr. A.O. Bala, former Deputy Provost of COE Minna, Mr. Abiola Layonu, Chairman ANA Oyo State & Campaign Manager, Farida for President 2023, and Sulay Nsubong, a representative from ANA Niger State.
Rt. Hon. Barr. Abdulmalik Sarkindaji, the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, will serve as the Chief Launcher of the day, with Alh. Abubakar Usman Gawu, the Secretary to the State Government of Niger State, and Hon. Usman Abdulahi Gbatamangi, the Chief of Staff, Niger State, as Co-launchers. The event will be gracefully hosted by Hon. Muhammed Nma Kolo – Jawon Minna, the Special Adviser on Political & Strategy.
