Some bandits have attacked Ujgwan Baka of the Agunu Ward of Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing a farmer and injured two others.
During the attack which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, the hoodlums abducted no fewer than 25 residents of the village.
It was gathered that the bandits invaded the community while the residents were fast asleep.
“25 people were kidnapped in Unguwan Baka of Agunu Ward in the early hours of today, Tuesday .Two people were injured and one person was killed,” said a survivor who crave for an anonymity.
According to him, “we rushed those that were injured to the hospital,we wish them quick recovery and those that were kidnapped we pray for their safe return.Please pray for us.This is the third attack on our community.”
There was no official reaction from either the state government or the police as there was no response to a call put to the state Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, rang out as of the time of filing this report.
