…..as Doma United Onigbinde says 5-0 defeat was target but for missed chances
The Head Coach of Bayelsa United Diepreye Teibowei, has blamed fatigue as reason his team suffered 2-0 defeat against Doma United Football Club.

Teibowei, explained that the travelling distance from Bayelsa to Gombe State, had a major tow on his team’s performance especially in the first half of the game.

He disclosed this during a post-match conference held after the game at Pantami township stadium on Saturday.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Andrew Majalisa at 21st minute and Charles Terwar, at the 58th minute scored the goals during the #DOMBAY, #NPFL24.
He said, “I don’t know if it’s the long distance, we will go back. The distance you know we had to drop some players. We will get it right.”
On the implications of the result based the team’s effort, the coach added, “the early is still early , it’s still young it would have been better if we won the game we didn’t win we will just go back home and fight win next away game.”
Also speaking, Technical Adviser of Doma United Akinade Onigbinde expressed optimism that his team would win laurels this season.
He said, “I’m very happy, very happy. The boys really showed they want to play the match.
On the impact of the win on the league he added, “We are just starting up till now there are still some lapses and the chances are the goal scoring. The game was supposed to end at 5-0 but I believe when we keep working we will get it right.”
Speaking on contending for NPFL title he said, “definitely, we are contenders. Last season we tried our best to be part of super eight but glory be to God this time around we are not going to give chance like that.”
