Fawu declares open SURWASH three-day workshop in Gombe
Gombe State Commissioner for Water, Environment and Forest Resources, Mohammed Saidu Fawu, on Wednesday declared open a three-day workshop holding in the state.
Our correspondent reports that the workshop is hosted for Sustainable Urban and Rural Water Sanitation and Hygiene, State Programme Coordinators and Monitoring & Evaluation Officers on the theme: Enhancing data quality assessment and reporting skills.

Represented at the occasion by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Danladi Adamu, who warmly welcomed the participants from different parts of the country to Gombe State.
He expressed delight at the choice of Gombe as the host location for the very important workshop which he said, “is a clear testament of the good works of Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, who has tirelessly worked to ensure that Gombe State is peaceful and hospitable to all.”

Fawu, thereafter, tasked the participants to acquire and learn knowledgeable skills throughout the duration of the workshop, as it would guide them in the effective implementation of items on their various work plans, thereby leading to a successful achievement of SURWASH programme goals and objectives.
