Fawu parleys Directors, charts implementation of policies, programmes in ministry
In his quest to reposition the ministry and hit the ground running, the Commissioner for Water, Environment and Forest Resources, Mohammed Saidu Fawu, on Wednesday, received briefing from Directorates.

Our correspondent reports that the meeting which held in his office was geared towards acquainting him with programmes and activities in their domains.
Fawu who listened with keen interest while Directors made presentations, made it interactive by asking relevant questions as they updated him on activities of their respective Directorates.

He applauded the Directors for their eloquent presentations and charged them to work assiduously and as a team to proffer solutions to the highlighted challenges in their respective Directorates.
He urged them to chart a way forward for the success of the Ministry in line with Governor Muhammadu Yahaya’s goals and aspirations in water, environment and forestry sectors.
The Commissioner assured them of his support in seeing that each Directorate excelled in implementation of policies and programmes of Yahaya’s administration.
Present at the briefing were the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Danladi Adamu, Directors of Administration and Finance, Water Resources, Environment, Fisheries, Forestry, Planning, Research, and Statistics and other principal staff of the ministry graced the important briefing.
