Gov Bala inaugurates ValueJet Airline in Bauchi
The Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has inaugurated the commencement of ValueJet in the state.

Mohammed announced this using his verified X platform, said the operation would be daily.
According to the governor, this would herald better business opportunities in the state, adding that it would yield greater partnership for business owners and government.
He wrote, “Yesterday, I had the pleasure of inaugurating a daily flight from Abuja to Bauchi, operated by ValueJet airline, @flyvaluejet. This is a significant step in our commitment to enhance transportation and stimulate our state’s economic development. I firmly believe that transportation is essential to a flourishing economy. Connecting Bauchi to the nation via these flights will aid in fostering ease of doing business and ensuring the safety of our citizens and their goods.
“I’m thrilled about our partnership with ValueJet Airline. This collaboration attests to the vast potential and opportunities Bauchi State offers. While we’ve invested substantially in road networks, we acknowledge the indispensable role of air travel. The Abubakar Tafawa International Airport, serving Bauchi and neighboring states like Yobe, Jigawa, Gombe, and Adamawa, is equipped with top-notch facilities for efficient airline operations.”
The governor also pledged to yield necessary support to the owners to encourage them, adding that “Understanding the challenges the aviation industry faces, I pledge to support all airlines operating here, ensuring their business not only thrives but expands. I urge these airlines to uphold the utmost standards of professionalism, punctuality, and consistency, as winning passengers’ trust is vital.”
He lauded the regulatory authorities for their support, “I’d like to express my gratitude to the regulatory agencies under the Federal Ministry of Aviation, @fmaviationng, for upholding global standards at our airport. A well-operational airport is crucial for tapping into the tourism and investment potentials of Bauchi and northern Nigeria. I’d also like to commend Captain Dapo Majekodunmi, the Managing Director of ValueJet Airline, for his assurance of excellent services in line with our partnership,” he added.
