Why 10th Senate has happiest lawmakers ever in Nigeria – Inyang
The Director-General of Uncommon Transformation Mandate Team for Akpabio and Barau Senate Presidency, Ambassador Enobong Inyang, says the 10th Senate under President Godswill Akpabio, has the happiest set of lawmakers.

Inyang made this disclosure at Four Point by Sheraton hotel in Ikot Ekpene Akwa Ibom State, during the just concluded National Assembly retreat organised by the National Institute for Legislative Studies in partnership with the Federal Inland Revenue Service.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the retreat was organised to broaden the knowledge of the lawmakers on effective ways to improve tax reform laws.

Tax legislation is the act or process of enacting tax laws and the body of laws that provide for the levying of taxes and tax administration especially in the digital age to help increase the revenue generation of the federal government.
The retreat which is the third in it series since emergence of the 10th senate saw all the 109 senators converge in a serene environment to brainstorm on the best way to make contribution towards the progress, development of Nigeria.

Senators from different political parties were seen happily seated, walking around, brainstorming, eating and discussing with each other without discrimination or preference by the leadership of 10th Senate, according to Inyang.
He said, “The happiness of the senators started from the beginning when Chief GODSWILL AKPABIO Emerged Senate President and immediately announced that the 10th Senate will be a collective Senate followed by the unbiased composition of the committees, Opposition Senators were given Chairmen of very high and Juicy committees like Education, Public account, Housing and many others which never happened in the previous Assemblies.”
Inyang disclosed that Akpabio has displayed leadership overtime as torchbearer of National Unity, adding “he leaves an indelible landmark in the heart of his colleagues and the smile on their faces are not longer hidden as many senators now find peace and comfort in the effectiveness of Akpabio’s inclusive leadership skills.”
UTM Progenitor recalled that Akpabio as Senate President has maintained a robust and unbiased relationship with all his colleagues by carrying them along in every sense of activities, describing the 10th Senate as fine gentlemen with “brains, character and patriotic minds which history and posterity will remember that the 10th Senate in collaboration with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu work hard to transforms the landscape of Nigeria,” he said.
He added, “The minority senators in the Senate have not had it this way before where the lines between the majority has been totally removed by Akpabio inclusive leadership style that even opponent of the Senate President, Senator Abdulaziz Yari could be seen walking around very happily with Akpabio in Ikot Ekpen the home town of the Senate President. Indeed this is the beginning of good things to come.”
