The Court of Appeal sitting in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has fixed Thursday November 23 for judgement in the Nasarawa State governorship election dispute between Governor Abdullahi Sule, of the All Progressives Congress and David Ombugadu, of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
The Electronic Desk Officer of the Appellate Court, Nasiru Alhassan, made this known in a notice sent to parties via text message.
According to the notice, the judgment is scheduled to be delivered by 9 a.m by the Appellate Court.
However, sources added that only ten supporters each of the two political parties will be allowed to enter the premises of the Appeal Court.
Recall that the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal had sacked Governor Sule and declared PDP’s Ombugadu as winner of the 2023 governorship election in the state.
Unsatisfied by the Tribunal judgement, the incumbent Governor filed an appeal to set aside the judgment and affirm his election as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
