Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has solicited for more support to enable him actualise his administration’s transformational dreams for Taraba.Kefas made the demand while reacting to the appeal Court ruling in Abuja that validated his election as governor of Taraba state.
Our correspondent reports that the appeal Court sitting in Abuja on Tuesday, dismissed the appeal by candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Professor Sani Yahaya, challenging the decision of the Taraba state governorship election petition Tribunal in Jalingo for lack of merrit.
Mr. Emmanuel Bello, Special Adviser to the governor on media and digital communication, in a press statement, quoted Kefas as describing the judgement as the will of Tarabans.
According to the statement, Kefas appealed for more support to enable him actualize his administration’s transformational dreams for Taraba state.
“My victory at the Court of Appeal is yet another demonstration of how the people’s will trumps over other consideration. It’s a Judgement for democracy and the victory of light over darkness.
“I wish to appeal to all Tarabans to join hands with my administration to develop Taraba state and lift the citizens higher,” Kefas reacted.
