In a significant development, the All Progress Congress, Gombe State chapter, conducted the inauguration of the recently elected leaders of its Promoters’ Forum in broadcasting media on Saturday at the state secretariat.
Mr Nitte Kantoma Amangal, the party’s chairman, expressed the commitment of the APC to align all activities with the party’s constitution through the representation of the State APC organising secretary, Muhammad Sunusi Abdullahi Attacker.
He urged the newly inaugurated executives to collaborate closely with the party’s leadership to advance democratic principles.
Furthermore, the chairman assured the Gombe State APC Promoters Forum of reaping the dividends of democracy in Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration and emphasized the importance of inclusivity.
Addressing the audience, Director-General Press Affairs Government House, Malam Ismaila Uba Misilli, represented by Hon. Yusuf Alyusrah, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Public Communication/New Media, pledged to introduce more initiatives under his office for the benefit of forum members.
The Director General expressed unwavering support for the Gombe State APC Promoters Forum, deeming the formation of such an organisation timely.
In his expression of gratitude, Chairman Idris Maheer Kumo vowed to ensure the comprehensive involvement of all forum members in achieving their goals.
He called on the executives and local government coordinators to actively promote the commendable work of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration to the people of Gombe State. Kumo extended gratitude to all party members in Gombe State for their steadfast support.
The chairman proceeded to inaugurate the executive and 11 local government coordinators who will oversee the forum’s operations at the grassroots level.
The event witnessed the presence of numerous distinguished APC stalwarts, including Dr. Danlami Arabs Rukuje, Alhaji Garba Inuwa Akoma Gona, Hon. Garba Yakubu Walin Pindiga, Yusuf Dahiru Mahdi, among others.
The atmosphere was charged with optimism for the future endeavors of the Gombe State APC Promoters Forum.
