Gombe State Transport Service(Gombe Line) is expected to start town service operation in Gombe metropolis

Sources claim this is part of Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahya’s effort to curtail the economic hardship as a result of fuel subsidy removal.
Speaking during an interview session with the media with the Director General/Sole Administrator Gombe State Transport Service Alhaji Sabo Shaibu, said the current administration is geared towards providing dividends of democracy.
It could recalled earlier on that, the State Governor has approved a palliative amount of N10,000 increase to each and every civil servant in the state.
“The state governor is still intending to set up the registering of all civil servant in to the GoHealth programme so that more citizens would benefit from subsidised health services.
“The routes and subsidised fares will be announced soon,” Shaibu said.
