Gombe State Commissioner of Police Hayatu Usman, says the command expects that Nigeria Labour Congress would comply with the court order.
Usman said that the command would work assidiously to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and order.
He made this disclosure in a press statement issued by the Public Relations Officer ASP Mahid Abubakar, on the position of the command.
Usman said, “We are taking every step to ensure there is no breakdown of law and order in the state. And we hope the NLC and other labour unions will obey the court order and embrace dialogue.”
The Commissioner of Police also directed the Divisional Police Officers through the Area Commander metro to take all necessary measures to ensure there is no breach of peace in the state.
