In a resounding show of collaboration between law enforcement and the community, Commissioner of Police CP Hayatu Usman, recently paid a visit to Hayin Kwari Misau, in Akko Local Government Council, Gombe State.

The visit marked a significant step towards fortifying security measures and fostering a sense of unity among the residents.
Usman, during his visit, encouraged the implementation of community policing initiatives. He assured the community of tangible support, promising to provide a patrol vehicle and establish a police outpost to combat criminal elements within the Hayin Kwari Misau community.
Community leader Comrade Sadiq Adamu, expressed unwavering commitment to collaborating with law enforcement and local vigilante groups.
He pledged the community’s readiness to actively participate in community policing efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
Reverend Amos Ayuba Difa, representing the religious leaders, emphasised their dedication to promoting peace within the community through their spiritual influence.
Vigilant Commander Abdullahi Danladi Abubakar, working closely with Gona Police Divisional Station in Akko LGA, highlighted the ongoing efforts to protect lives and property. He affirmed the community’s dedication to working in tandem with law enforcement.
Divisional Police Officer of Gona station, Malam Aliyu Demba, acknowledged the unique challenges posed by Hayin Kwari Misau but expressed determination to address criminal activities following the visit by CP Hayatu Usman.
During the event, Galadiman Bogo, Malam Usman Adamu, offered prayers for lasting peace in the community.
In closing remarks, District Head of Hayin Kwari Misau, Alhaji Dahiru Adamu Waziri, extended heartfelt gratitude to Commissioner Hayatu Usman for the visit. He assured the Commissioner of the community’s unwavering support, pledging to actively participate in all strategies aimed at eradicating criminal elements within Gombe and its environs.
The familiarisation visit saw the entire community gathering at the palace to welcome Commissioner Hayatu Usman, with groups of hunters and vigilantes adding their support to the occasion. The collective commitment showcased during this visit signals a collaborative effort towards fostering a secure and cohesive community in Hayin Kwari Misau.
