It was a crowdy Sunday in Kano, as thousands of residents converged at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, to receive Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, from Abuja.

Governor Yusuf was warmly received on arrival by his deputy Comrade, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo; Speaker, Kano state House of Assembly, Hon. Isma’il Jibrin Falgore; Chief of Staff, Alh. Shehu Sagagi; Head of Service , Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, members of National and State Assemblies from Kano; members of Kano state executive council; Special Advisers among thousands of red cap loyalists of Kwankwasiyya movement.

The governor’s triumphant return amidst mammoth crowd after the hearing of his appeal at the Supreme Court against the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) further testified his overwhelming popularity and wide acceptance by Kano people.

Following the huge crowd of admirers and well wishers, it took the Governor’s convoy over three hours journey between Malam Aminu International Airport, to Sani Abacha Stadium, where he was warmly received.

Captured by his boundless excitement, Governor Yusuf’s hands were permanently raised, While cheering at the surging crowd.
