Coach of Niger Tornadoes, Hamza Abarah, on Saturday blamed his team’s 1-0 defeat to host Doma United FC at Pantami township stadium to tactical reasons.
Abarah made this disclosure in Gombe during a post-match conference with journalists on the outing of his team.
According to him, the team had huge expectations of defeating Doma United, stressing that the lapses resulted into its defeat.
“We are on course, we came with game plan but unfortunately for us we lost the game due to tactical reasons,” he said.
Abarah commended his players for their sterling performance adding that “this is one of the best games so far, I’m proud of this game today, despite the loss this is one of our best game.”
While urging his team’s Supporters’ Club not to give give the Gaffer said, “We are still pleading that they should exercise patience by the special grace of God we are going out of where we are.”
On the host team’s performance Niger Tornadoes gaffer said “this is a very good team as you can see and the game is on their side and that will give them energy to do better.”
Also speaking, Technical Adviser of Doma United FC Akinade Onigbinde, described the outing as tough although successful saying “We are glad we got our three points that’s very important to us.”
Speaking on his expectation against Kwara United, Doma United FC Technical Adviser promised that his team would consolidate on its success, adding that “We are targeting three point against Kwara United.”
