Kano Pillars has been fined N12.250 million for various offences in their last home match against Plateau United by the Nigeria Premier Football League management company.

N1m for repeated throwing of objects to the pitch by their fans.
N1m for misconduct capable of bringing the match to disrupte
N250,000 as compensation to the injured assistant referee, Sodiq Adejumo.
According to the release that communicated the team’s sanction, “Kano Pillars will play their next home game(s) before the mid-season behind closed doors.”
