…. entourage pays condolence visit at Kalaring
The Secretary to Government of Gombe State Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has paid new year homage to Mai Kaltungo Engineer Sale Muhammadu, and extended Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, Government and people of Gombe State best wishes to the monarch.
The SGS was accompanied by an All Progressives Congress Chieftain and Governor Yahaya’s ally Alhaji Buba Sheru, the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Mohammed Usman Shanu, and Director SS & Pol Bala Sarki, among others to felicitate with Mohammed and the entire Chiefdom on the advent of the year 2024.
Njodi also congratulated the Mai for the successful hosting of the largest Kaltungo Cultural Carnival which greatly showcased the rich traditions of people in the Chiefdom to the outside world.
While wishing the Royal father long life and peaceful reign the SGS prayed for sustainable peace and development of the maidom.
Responding, Mohammed lauded Governor Yahaya for his commitment to peaceful co-existence in the state and the continued support to peace initiatives of traditional rulers.
Mohammed further commended the governor for the confidence reposed in Njodi as SGS, describing the Chief Scribe as a worthy ambassador of the chiefdom.
Earlier, the delegation was at the residence of late Baba Audu Musa, a close relation at Kalaring quarters to convey Governor Yahaya’s condolences to the family of the deceased.
Delivering the governor’s condolence message the head of delegation, Alhaji Buba Sheru an ally of the governor encouraged them to be consoled in the reality that death is the ultimate end of every living being.
He further enjoined them to continually pray for the deceased while preparing for theirs.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased soul and the family.
