Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arraigned Willie Obiano, the immediate past governor of Anambra state, over allegations of money laundering of over N4 billion.
Obiano pleaded not guilty to the nine-count charge preferred against him.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA had reported how the former governor was alleged by the anti-graft body to have transferred his security votes totalling N4 billion to individuals that have no direct relationship with Anambra State Government.
Arraigning the former governor, before a Federal High Court, Obiano pleaded not guilty to the charges.
