The Permanent Secretary General Duties, office of the Secretary to the Government of Gombe State, Alhaji Abdulkadir Adamu Kawu, has called on the people of the state to continue to support the policies and programmes of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
The Permanent Secretary made the call when he received his colleagues, members of set 95′ of the Tertiary institution he attended when they visited to felicitate with him over his appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Service of Gombe State saying, “Governor Yahaya means well for the state demonstrated by all his policies and programmes, describing him as a prudent and committed leader.”
Speaking further, Abdulkadir Adamu thanked God Almighty and Governor Yahaya for appointing him as a Permanent Secretary adding that “I’m nobody but elevated to somebody.”
While calling on all and sundry to support the present administration the Permanent Secretary thanked his colleagues of Set 95′ for the show of love by coming in their numbers to identify with him over his appointment, adding that he would not take it for granted and but would support members at all times.
Speaking on behalf of the visiting group, Audu Musa, and Dr Adamu Isa, said they were at the Perm Sec’s office to identify with one of their own over his elevation.
They formally congratulated him and wished him well urging him to rededicate himself to the service of the state, while discharging his responsibilities, the group prayed to Allah to guide and protect him.
