The Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, has been impeached from his position over alleged gross misconduct.
In his place, Hon Oludaisi Elemide has been appointed as the new speaker.
According to a video, obtained by PERISCOPE NIGERIA Oluomo, was accused of not sharing proceeds from the governor meant for the house members.
Members claimed Governor Dapo Abiodun, has been blamed for not being generous, insisting that Oluomo has been the cause.
“The Governor is giving us money but the Speaker is always tell us no money,” member Ogun State House Assembly on why they removed Speaker Olakunle Oluomo.
