The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced that the Ministry, in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency, will be distributing a large quantity of hand-held and outdoor flags at viewing centres.
The Minister stated that this initiative is a result of the Federal Government’s endeavors to encourage Nigerians to display loyalty and collective dedication to the national team’s triumph.
The Minister also emphasised the importance of Nigerian residents in Ivory Coast coming together in large numbers at the stadium to show their support for the national team.
Furthermore, he stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is pleased with the national team’s performance.
