…… SEMA Boss gets AEC honour
The Gombe State Emergency Management Agency was rated among the 10th corrupt-free emergency management agency in Nigeria and number two in the North-East beside Borno State.




The ratting according to Independent survey by a Non- Governmental Organisation, an Internal Anti-Corruption Agency the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation.
The organisation majors in exposing corruption, promoting ethical leadership and self value.
The report noted that Gombe SEMA’s activities were closely monitored by the organisation and rated high among its peers hence, the Award of Ethical Leadership & Conduct Compliance AEA to the Executive Secretary Haruna Abdullahi Haruna.
According to the organisation Haruna’s unwavering commitment, dexterity, innovations have changed the narrative of the agency.
Presenting the award to the SEMA boss, the Director, Centre for Self Value Orientation Prince Salih Musa Yakubu, congratulated the agency and encouraged it to keep on the good work especially in the area of transparency and good conduct at all times and offered to train 100 stakeholders in the business of emergency management as part of their support to SEMA, Gombe State.
Receiving the award the SEMA boss said the award will ginger him and the entire staff of the agency do more in the discharge of their duties.
“I thank Allah for this prestigious award, I was only doing what I was assigned to do by my boss His Excellency Muhammadu Inuwa CON, not knowing that an agency such as yours is watching, an anti corruption agency for that matter. I am indeed overwhelmed by this award and promise to continue putting in my best,” he added.
The decoration of the AEC on SEMA Executive Secretary was witnessed by staff of the agency.
