Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu, has granted Federal Government scholarships to the children of the deceased Delta soldiers.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the soldiers were killed on peacekeeping mission to the Okuama community in Delta State.
Tinubu’s scholarship provides educational support up to university level. Moreover, he has instructed that the families receive their benefits within a period of 90 days.
President Tinubu has shown recognition to the late soldiers of the Nigerian army who sacrificed their lives in Delta state by presenting them with national awards.
All four senior officers have been honored with the Member of the Order of Nigeria (MON) award.
All 13 soldiers awarded Order of the Federal Republic (OFR).
