The literary world is set to converge in Lagos for the much-anticipated 2024 World Book Day celebration, organised by Hope for Life Initiative in collaboration with the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the occasion is scheduled to take place at the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs on April 30th, 2024, at it promises to be remarkable celebration of literature and knowledge with the theme “Read Your Way.”
In a press statement issued by the CEO of Hope for Life Initiative, Kendi Aig-Imoru, it was revealed that the festivities will commence at 12:00 noon, preceded by an exhibition starting at 10:00 am. The event aims to foster a culture of reading and learning, emphasizing the transformative impact of books on individuals and societies alike.
The excitement surrounding the event is palpable, as the lineup of distinguished writers and scholars promises insightful discussions and engaging discourse on the power of books and the written word. Leading the charge are the esteemed quartet consisting of Dr. Olatunbosun Taofeek, Mallam Denja Abdulahi, Sir Folu Agoi, and Adesuwa O. Erediauwa.
