The Management of Jos Electricity Distribution Plc says its has concluded arrangements to commence the enumeration of its customers in Bauchi and Gombe States.
The exercise according to the Head, Corporate Communications of the company, Dr Friday Adakole, has been slated to start soon.
Adakole on Wednesday claimed the importance of the exercise objectives was to among other things identify and list the weak points of the company’s various distribution equipment, “such as distribution transformers, poles, high tension lines, low tension lines. The exercise will eliminate cases of obsolete equipment from the network,” the statement partly read.
The exercise he posited would not only lead to the digitisation of customers but modernisation of customer management which would no doubt facilitate better customer satisfaction.
Adakole’s statement partly read, “Given the above, Jos Electricity Distribution Plc is therefore calling for total cooperation between its esteemed customers and the enumeration agents responsible for carrying out this assignment.”
