A member representing South-East on the Governing Board of North-East Development Commission, Rep.Sam Onuigbo has commended President Bola Tinubu, for his Renewed Hope Agenda which touches critical aspects of their lives, including education and other programmes.
Onuigbo who spoke to the Press after the launching of the ASSEP in Bauchi also appreciated the Vice- President, Senator Kashim Shettima for always identifying with worthy causes, just as he commended the MD and the Board of the North East Development Commission for embarking on the noble initiative.
He who described education as the greatest legacy they can bequeath to near and future generations to guarantee their success, pointed out that the NEDC under the leadership of Alhaji Muhammad Goni Alkali and his Governing Board have been addressing critical sectors to change the narrative in all facets of life ranging from massive infrastructural development, construction of various schools, provision of electricity, construction of good roads, establishment of hospitals, provision of instructions facilities and other numerous services which education that is central is the key in the mandate of the Board.
He said that with the launching of the Accelerated Senior Secondary Education Programme (ASSEP) in Bauchi, weekend, by the Vice- President, Senator Kashim Shettima that the sky is not going to be their limits because of the benefits they will stand to gain both now and future generations to come from the programme.
