An Abuja based Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, support group has donated T-shirts, Caps and stickers to the candidates of the party, Dr Asue Ighodalo, in the coming Edo governorship election. The group known as Abuja Asue/Ogie Governorship Mandate, is made up of registered voters in Edo state who are resident in Abuja.
The campaign materials were received on behalf of the PDP candidates, Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Ogie by a member of the Edo PDP State Campaign Council, Amb. Tony Okonigene, in Abuja on Monday.
Okonigene expressed thanks to the group assuring them that the duo of Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Ogie will not disappoint Edo State people when they at the helms of affairs in the State. He urged the group to mobilize registered voters resident in Abuja to go home and vote on the 21st of September. He described the candidates of the PDP as unbeatable.
The President of the group, Amb. Peter Itebor, said that the materials were printed by the group members as a way of supporting the realisation of the peoples mandate which has been given to Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Ogie. He said that they are proud to have Asue Ighodalo as the PDP candidate assuring that they will mobilize their members to go home and vote for the PDP on September 21st
