African Peace Initiative for Good Governance has appointed Nafiu Bala-Gombe, as Director-General, Country Representative.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Bala-Gombe was 2023 gubernatorial candidate of African Democratic Congress in Gombe State.
According to a letter dated July 9, 2024, signed by Stephen Robert, the organisation’s Co-Chairman, Bala-Gombe’s appointment is with immediate effect.
The letter added that it arrived at the decision to appoint Bala-Gombe, on 5th of July, 2024.
The statement partly read, “We write to inform you that, at the meeting of the Organisation held on the 5th day of July, 2024 wherein, it was resolved that you be appointed as the Director General/Country Representative of the organisation.
“Consequently, you are hereby appointed as the Director General/Country Representative Nigeria of the Organisation, your appointment is with immediate effect please.”
