Yesterday, several social media platforms were awash with an Appeal Court Ruling where Philip Shaibu was claimed to have secured a pre-election matter victory over Dr Asue Ighodalo on a case bothering voters card forgery. I laughed so much. The gullible reporter who shared the ‘details later’ news could not share the ‘details now’.
Now, people who are capable of forging a court ruling, what else are they incapable of? What can they not forge going forward? We saw them recently parading the lifeless body of a police officer they might have killed to draw public sympathy after unleashing mayhem in the city of Benin last week. What else are these groups of thugs, tigers, lions, wolves, street urchins and cretins not capable of doing?
The people of Edo State are told to transfer the aggression of whatsoever they have against Governor Obaseki to Dr Asue Ighodalo so that he could be taught a lesson…was that not how President Goodluck Jonathan was treated and in his place the people elected a failure who ruined Nigeria within 8 years? There is no sense in electing Senator Okpebholo because we want to teach Obaseki a political lesson. This will amount to the senseless removal of the nose just to spite the face.
