Emnamu Foundation has empowered 500 households with N25 million and food items as part of activities to mark the Thanksgiving Service of Rev. Stephen Mamza, the immediate past Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Adamawa State chapter.

Speaking at the distribution in Yola, the foundation’s President, Dr Emmanuel Musa, said each person would be given N50, 000 cash, rice, maize, vegetable oil, salt, maggi cubes, mattress and wrapper.
According to him, the Foundation in September 2022 had fed thousands of households across the State, with assorted food items.
He congratulated Mamza for the successful completion of his six years of stewardship as CAN Chairman.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Bishop Dami and I also believe that we would not be buried with our wealth and riches, but certainly and surely, our wealth and riches will speak for us, even on the Day of Judgment.
“ So this is our belief, and this is our motivation to serve humanity,” he said.
Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, Adamawa Deputy Governor congratulated Mamza for successful tenure and thanked him for impacting positively to humanity.Farauta represented by Mrs Wunfe Anthony, commissioner ministry of Transportation said, remarkable achievement have been achieved during his tenure and prayed for him to continue.
Bathiya Wesley, Speaker Adamawa Assembly also thanked Mamza for promoting peace and unity among the Christian communities in the state and wish him prosperous life.
Joel Manzo, incumbent Chairman CAN Adamawa thanked Mamza for the foundation laid in the association and assured to continue in the right direction.In his remarks, Mamza thanked everyone for their support and contributions during his tenure.
He also appreciated the foundation for humanitarian gesture especially now that people were experiencing a lot of challenges.
He further assured 100 per cent support for the new leadership of the association for them to succeed.Mr Innocent Igbokee, 74 year-old beneficiary appreciated the foundation for the gesture and assured to used the money judiciously.
